1) By Sunday, June 21st at noon, enter your swimmer for the meet on Monday.

• Click here, be sure to log in. Enter swimmers and sign up to volunteer with the green buttons on the calendar and signups page.
• Meet on Monday, June 22nd vs. Wiltondale
• Arrive at Valley at 4:30, warm ups at 5, meet starts at 6pm.
• Theme: Grandfriends' Night - Invite your grandparents or grandfriends to cheer you on at our home meet! We will have ice cream for all grandparents/grandfriends to enjoy.
• Go to https://valleygators.swimtopia.com/swim-meet-101 to know what to expect at the meet.
• THANK YOU for signing up to volunteer at the meets so far - you all have done a wonderful job. We still need help Monday, especially the 2nd half, please sign up.

2) By noon on Tuesday 6.23, enter your swimmer for Wednesday's meet vs. York Manor

• Click here, be sure to log in. Enter swimmers and sign up to volunteer with the green buttons on the calendar and signups page.
• Arrive at Valley at 4:30, warm ups at 5, meet starts at 6pm.
• Theme: Holidays in June - Dress in your favorite holiday attire as we celebrate being halfway to the holiday season! We will have a small, quick gift exchange after the meet. If your child would like to participate, they need to bring a $5 kids gift for the exchange raffle. Wrap the gift. EVERY (not just swim team) kid at the meet can participate. Give to Holly Sebastian when you check in for the meet. At the time of the draw, names will be called, kids will pick a gift. No sign up required. Gifts that have done well in the past are candy and $5 gift cards.
• Sign up to volunteer at Wednesday's meet. We still need MANY volunteer positions filled.

3) For all meets going forward:

• No need to wait to sign up - click here Calendar and Signups Page. All meet signups are posted and will close by noon the day before the meet. We will do our best to send reminders.
• Weather updates - Next week looks unpredictable. Look at email blasts before leaving for the meets. We try to give as much notice as possible in the case of a cancelled meet, but summer storms dissipate and/or pop up quickly. No news = meet is on. If the meet is canceled, we hope to reschedule for a Tues, Wed, or Thurs in the future. Stay tuned. We will have to coordinate with the other team and their schedule.
• Even when it's warm outside, the swimmers get cold after swimming. Bring extra towels.

4) Swimtopia

• The free version of the app is really great for seeing a list of meets, event numbers at meets, times after meets, everything meet related. In the app, at the top, there is a “visit website” link. If you are looking for information outside of meets, click there to go to the website.
• This portal has been so wonderful - please ask for help if you are having any issues. We understand everyone is learning.
• We noticed that meets disappear once they happen, so look at the date when registering and planning.

5) Merchandise

Valley is developing an online store to be ready by the end of the week (fingers crossed)! The owners of the club didn't want anyone to miss out - so when the site is ready, we will let you know. You will be able to order items you like, then it will be shipped directly to you. Be aware, the prices will be higher, due to individual orders.
